winter :(

it's that time again. time for the first snow storm. i liked snow storms a lot more when i was a kid and it meant a day off of school. now it just means a 2 hour commute to work. way less cool. (unless it happens to snow so much tonight that i can't get out of my garage!)

no outrageous stories to tell, BUT i did fall in love with an adorable boxer that needs rescued from a local animal shelter. i'm trying to justify not buying him, but it's really difficult. if he comes home to be my son, and jack's brother, there will definitely be pictures for your viewing pleasure. :)

What am I doing?!

Well, here I am, doing something I swore I'd never do. Creating a blog. I can't honestly say I know how this started, but I guess we'll see where it takes me. I'm fairly certain none of my close friends or family blog, so it kind of feels more like a diary. Only except the lock part and the brother stealing it and reading it part. Or the part where you lose your key so you cut it open and just tape it closed. That'll keep 'em out. Anyway. I don't really have too terribly much to say. Just enjoying my weekend. I think I've been up for about 2 hours total today. Some day I'll learn to be productive on the weekends, but for now I'll still pretend I'm a kid.
